- Membership in CLUB Dresdner Gästeführer e.V. includes professional liability insurance and financial loss insurance through the Federal Association of Tour Guides in Germany (Bundesverband der Gästeführer Deutschlands e.V.). Detailed information can be found at www.bvgd.org.
- An individual quote will be provided for all requested city tours/sightseeing tours/day trips.
- The recommended group size for city tours is a maximum of 25 participants. For larger groups, the contractor will book an additional tour guide or, if the maximum number of five persons is exceeded, only charge a surcharge of €5 per hour upon request.
- Payment for services is made in cash on site or by bank transfer.
- For distances of more than 20 kilometers to the meeting point of the tour, an additional amount for the tour guide’s travel expenses will be agreed upon.
- Order cancellations
- From 8 working days before the agreed date, a cancellation fee of 0% will be charged.
- From 7 to 3 working days before the start of the service, a cancellation fee of 80% will be charged.
- Less than 2 working days before the start of the service, a cancellation fee of 100% will be charged.
The cancellation takes effect on the day it is received. The contractor will issue a written confirmation.
- If the group/guest is late, the tour guide will wait for 30 minutes at the agreed meeting point. The duration of the tour will be shortened accordingly. If the group/guest does not show up without prior notice, we reserve the right to charge the full fee, including travel expenses. In the event of absence through no fault of your own (e.g., as a result of an accident or force majeure), the booked tour will be canceled without consequences for either party.
- In the event that the tour guide is delayed at the meeting point through no fault of their own, or is unable to attend (e.g. as a result of an accident, force majeure, or illness), the group/guest will be notified as soon as possible. If possible, the respective colleague or another tour guide will take over the tour; otherwise, the booked tour/guidance shall be canceled for both contracting parties without consequence. No one shall be entitled to compensation or reimbursement of any kind. Otherwise, liability shall only be limited to the agreed fee.
- Participation in tours is at your own risk. The tour guide is exempt from any liability.
- In the event of a thunderstorm, outdoor tours will be canceled for both contracting parties without consequence, or an indoor tour (without a guided tour) will be conducted for the duration of the thunderstorm.
